Direct Needle Therapy (DNT) is a skin rejuvenation and scar conversion treatment that helps to restore and accelerate the skins own regeneration of collagen and elastin through a natural healing process.
During the procedure, ultra-fine, medical grade stainless steel needles are passed across the skin creating multiple channels that on penetration, induce a wound healing response.
By stimulating a wound healing response the skin begins a natural repair process that over a series of treatments will visibly reduce fine lines and wrinkles, improve skin texture, refine scar tissue, plump and firm the skin giving an overall more youthful luminous appearance.
DNT uses 9 needles in a disposable cartridge that vertically pierce the skin. The pen has is the ability to adjust the speed (up to 100 oscillations per second) along with a varying needle depth dial, which allows you to treat different areas of the face or body at different intensities. For example underneath the eyes the skin is much finer than the skin on the body, so the depth may be adjusted from .5mm up to 3mm in depth.
With vertical needle insertion, the medical grade stainless steel needles penetrate the skin without the risk of tearing or damaging skin tissue.
